So far, JETP financing can only be used for the development and strengthening of transmission, the early retirement or managed phase down of coal fired power plants and the development of both dispatachable renewable energy and variable renewable energy. The commercial financing under JETP can also be invested in efforts to build the renewable energy value chain.
