How will the policy recommendations in the CIPP be implemented by the Government of Indonesia?
The Comprehensive Investment and Policy Plan (CIPP) is a document for the implementation of the Joint Statement agreed in November 2022. The CIPP is a strategy document that the Government of Indonesia (GoI) will use as a basis for power sector planning and policy making as part oft he JETP process. It does not constitute a legally binding document.
The GoI has endorsed the CIPP and launched the document together with International Partners Group (IPG) on November 21st, 2023. The CIPP is not a policy document. The adoption and implementation of the policy recommendations is a decision that will rest in the sovereign hands of the GoI.
