Indonesia has a number of bilateral and multilateral partnerships to support energy transition, including the Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) and Asian Zero Emission Community (AZEC).

The financing committed to ETM is part of the JETP financing, as identified by the donor entities (IPG countries). Therefore, the ETM financing amounting to

On the other hand, AZEC is a multilateral cooperation that is supported primarily by the Government of Japan, and is an initiative that is different to JETP. Therefore, the AZEC financing is not counted as JETP financing, despite of the fact that Japan is one of the donor countries in JETP.

Existing bilateral energy transition efforts with countries outside of the IPG are not included in the JETP financing commitment.
