The JETP Secretariat received guidance from the Implementation Team of the National Energy Transition Task Force (Satgas TEN) as stipulated in the Decree of the Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment No. 144 Year 2023.

Satgas TEN leads the accelerated implementation of national energy transition with the goal to achieving Indonesia's national targets including emissions reduction of the energy sector in the Enhanced Nationally Determined Contribution (Enhanced NDC) and to achieve net zero emission in 2060 or sooner.

Satgas TEN comprises a Steering Commitee led by the Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment, consisting of Ministers from relevant sectors and an Implementation Team led by the Deputy Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Coordinating, consisting of higher echelon officials from various government departments and the CEO of relevant SOEs. The composition and tasks of the Task Force is detailed in Chapter 9 of the CIPP document.
