JETP financing pledge comes from public and private sources in different types and mechanisms. There is an $11.6 billion public funding from the IPG countries and at least $10 billion private financing from the 7 GFANZ banks.

The public funding modalities come in many forms including concessional loans, non-concessional loans, Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) guarantees, grants, Technical Assistance, and equity investment. The private financing is mostly commercial lending, through either corporate finance or project finance scheme and equity or quasi-equity type of investment.
